Kim Stagliano and Family on Good Morning America Now

Last Thursday, Mark, the girls and I taped a segment for Good Morning America Now, which is the 3rd hour of GMA that runs on the ABC News Now cable only channel. The segment was on the costs of having a child with autism/special needs with a tax expert to offer advice. There are two segments, the first is all of us. The second is after the break, when Mark had to escort Miss Bella for a break, leaving Mia, Gianna and me on set.

Mia arrived, took one look at the long couch, draped herself over it and said, "Go to sleep." Gianna couldn't take her eyes off the giant camera/monitor. Bella was in my lap and did her very best.

I forgot to mention that Mark is out of work -STUPID ME! I really blew it on that one. But a girl gets nervous minding her kids while on TV! The producer, Matt Drake, was just wonderful to us. And the on air talent was none other than Cameron Mathison of All My Children fame.

I'm trying to get the embed code to make this easier.

WOW - that was terrific! I'm a new reader (mom a newly diagnosed 2yo girl) and I'm completely impressed with your girls, and grateful to you for being brave enough to go on TV!

SO impressive. You are gorgeous and smart, and yes, I imagined your voice something like that.

Beautiful, beautiful girls.

You were brilliant and the kids held up great. Glad Cameron did the interview. I've had the pleasure of meeting him and he's a sweet guy, and a great dad too, so he was perfect for the interview. Hope you are glowing with pride (and not beating yourself up about that small oversight.)

Hi Kim,

I just watched both segments and I'm so impressed. Your kids are beautiful. Seeing you with them for even a short time makes me realize how much energy goes into your daily routine, if there is such a thing as "routine" in your house.

Kudos on your interview.

Best,

Tena

Oh yeah, I know I wrote you an email about how great you all did, but how could I have forgotten to mention HOW HOT THE HOST IS!!!!!!!!!

If he was staring at me asking all those questions, I would have been lying on that couch asking him to take a nap with ME!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great piece! And your beautiful girls were so well behaved! Watching you with Bella reminded me of all the hours I spent rubbing Karly's back when she was little.

And you were so well composed, as well! Thanks for sharing the links!

Hi, Matt and thank you! I want a publicist! LOL! "Kim will be appearing in the freezer section of the Stop & Shop Monday at 11:00am." How'd you get that better link? Harumph! :)

Thanks - it was a pleasure to meet Bernie. We have a few things in common.

This was excellent and y'all were so composed. You gave such a realistic and clear explanation of what it's like to deal with the financial side of autism therapies and the realities of the overwhelming costs. Fantastic job. Bernie Krooks gave some great info about recouping what precious few tax deductions there are too.

Thank you!

Kim -- Finally had a chance to watch -- everyone did a great job and looked great too. The girls are beautiful and were so well-behaved -- I don't think I can sit still for that long, let alone Henry! Kudos to all of you...
