My revision is coming along smoothly I'm happy to report. When do you know you're on the right track though? Is it a comfortable feeling? Does a lightbulb click on and stay lit? And, um, when do you stop???

My guideline is to stop when I'm down to changing individual punctuation marks (that aren't grammatically incorrect, of course). Usually that means I've addressed all the big issues. Who said that no work of art is ever finished, just abandoned? They were dead on.

You never know until someone reads your book and tells you it was wonderful!!!LOL
