Do you watch the Showtime series "Weeds" with Mary Louise Parker, Elizabeth Perkins and Kevin Nealon? Monday nights at 10pm but we Tivo it. It's about a well to do, suburban woman who starts selling pot to make money after her husband dies. Desperate Housewives meets Cheech and Chong. Best TV on TV until the Soprano's returns.

I've heard of this show, but unlike the inmates I teach, I don't have cable.
I stopped watching network television after ABC cancelled "Mr. T and Tina" back in 1976. You can talk about your Nicholsons, your DeNiros, your Pacinos, but it always comes back to Pat Morita.
How in God's name did you ever remember that show - it's a vague blur in my mind. Who played Tina?
Never seen it ... my vote for best "TV on TV" is Grey's Anatomy, though!

You mean the "invisible" Susan Blanchard? You must hoard old TV Guides like some guys hoard Playboys to have remembered that one! I'm still fond of Square Pegs, myself. The early SJP days.
