ON SALE TODAY!

Look Me In The Eye is on PEREZ!

Are you a fan of
Perez Hilton? I click there several times a day. Guilty pleasure. And who's there tonight? JOHN ROBISON! No, it' s not a photo of John with Britney. He's on the sidebar, not in the photo section. I'd read on his blog that he was on Perez. But seeing it was still a surprise. A great one! The book debuts on Tuesday. I'll be in NYC for his signing with his brother Augusten. My Mom is coming in from Massachusetts to attend with Mark and me. She read John's book and enjoyed it too.

Oh, here! If you haven't seen this on his blog, you can click the video below to meet John for yourself. Then buy that book so he can get himself a giant International Harvester Combine or something equally "farmalicious" for his property. I think that would make him happy.

HI Kim, You sound like a fun dinner companion, actually. I've been enjoying your blog for a while, maybe we'll get to meet Tues night in NYC. I'm another Perez fan, er, reader. And I can't believe I'm admitting it in public.

(I removed this comment from your previous post after putting it there by mistake. So now it's here, in the right place.)

Dude. I read Perez like 80 times a day.

I can't wait for John, in his newfound fame, to get caught on Perez in a Britney-style scandal and get photographed exiting a limo either
1) Drunk
2) Without his panties
3) Or dropping a toddler
or
4) all of the above.

Seriously, though, I can't WAIT for his book. Love that man.

Just tried to view the you tube thing but didn't get the sound for some reason (too tired to care at the momemet!) As it zoomed in on the book cover I really wanted the face to open eyes and yell "BOO!"

I've already reserved my copy at our local library...can't wait! :-)
Thanks for your recent comment on Nik's latest. Wish we could use the oil...ear tubes = no OTC drops, oils, etc. Yeah, we use Solaray "Multidophilus Powder" since we can dilute it and put it through his feeding tube. He's on the mend...destroying the family room as I write!

That is awesome, Kim. Thanks for the link. By the way, did you see Jenny McCarthy on 20/20 the other night. She was discussing her son who has Autism, and alternate treatments. It was fascinating. I thought of you when I was watching. I didn't have a way to notify you right away...sorry...

Niksmom, always something, yes? Glad he's feeling better. We use Ultimate Flora from Renew Life - 50B critters wide spectrum. I sprinkle into G's waffle breakfast sandwich, into Bella's juice and Mia can swallow a fistful of pills, so she's easy.

Demon, I saw it. She did a great job. I could relate to her talking about seizures and the complete dismissal from doctors. Those memories drive me to keep turning over stones to help my kids - even if it means I get hit in the head by people throwing stones at me as I look. You can email me from the blog. Click profile and there's an email link to KimStagliano at gmail dot com. Drop into my inbox anytime!

That's too funny! I don't read Perez. I tend to go to "Oh No They Didn't!" a bazillion times a day for my latest gossip - they get stuff from Perez, Just Jared, TMZ, etc. so I don't have to work for my gossip. ;) I will go to Perez, just to see John, though! And I'm going to get the book tomorrow! Can't wait!

I read Jenny McCarthy's book Saturday night, and it was so nice to read it, thinking, how many "normal" people will read this and maybe get an understanding of the autism world!

Hi Kim (delurking). Great blog, but you're wrong about John needing to buy a bigger machine-it's all meant for Cubby and Cubby only to send on hopefully not too wayward youth (seeing as how Cubby introduced me to my husband I have to look out for his best interests).

On a more serious note, I find it ironic that the book hits the stores the same week I have conference #3 of the barely month old school year with my 9 year old son's new teacher. Her latest complaint "He never looks me in the eye when I speak to him"-sigh. Apparently, reading his ISP or listening to anything I have told her was not deemed necessary.

Here's hoping all our kids grow up happy and with a strong sense of themselves and pride in who they are, not who others try to force them into being.
