Hi Kim, My husband lost a cousin in the WTC....I have many friends in NYC and luckily all were safe. I went into labor with Caitlin, while waiting for the E train at the WTC station. I love NYC, and miss it greatly. I will say a prayer or two myself today. Jeanette
Hi, K. I'm sorry. Mark was flying from Dallas back to Cleveland. His was the last plane allowed to land. I knew he was in the air and planes were crashing. That was when they thought one of the planes had turned around over Ohio to head to DC. We have his boarding pass as a reminder. I was very glad to see him walk through the door that day. Bruce Springsteen's THE RISING is a beautiful tribute to 9/11. Mark just got us tix to see him at Madison Square Garden in October for our 16th. Whoo hoo!!
I was having a kitchen re-fit when the world trade centre was destryed and the news coverage we saw unfolding was like something out of a Bond film. I remember seeing the footage of the second tower being hit and getting confused as at first we thought it was a replay of the first tower. I just couldn't beleive what I was seeing and my thoughts are with all those involved as we pass another anniversary.

My neighbors lost their son in the Pentagon. It's a sad day in our neighborhood and the subject of my blog today.
