Happy 7th Birthday to my Bella!
Mark and went into her first grade class where I read Leo The Late Bloomer a wonderful book about a little Tiger with delays. Then we ate bug cakes! The kids studied insects this week so I made GFCF cakes that looked like bugs (thanks to a fabulous pan from Williams Sonoma.)

Thanks! I'm off to read LEO THE LATE BLOOMER to her first grade class. It explains "differences" and lack of speech in such a sweet way. I love that book. And I baked GFCF cakes shaped like small bugs since the kids studied insects in school this week. Everone gets to eat their own bug! Now who wants a dragonfly? :)

Happy Birthday Bella! Wow, she has really grown up. Beautiful, just like her sisters. I'll have to find that "Leo" book for when Dylan's birthday rolls around--great idea. How do you make the bug cakes?! A mold? Sounds so cool!

A very very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Bella! She is a true beauty. I remember her mommy turning 7! Just as beautiful.

Ginny was MY babysitter as a kid! I think I threw up on her a few times. And I know I swore at her friends. Ginny, didn't I tell one boy, "You're ugly you ass." And tell him he had pimples? At about age 5? Charming.... It's so nice to friends with you all these years later. Just like our Moms were friends.

Thanks, Michelle, my Boston friend and J. Bat cake? Got to look for that pan!

Happy Birthday, Gorgeous!

Look at her! I could eat her.

But I'd rather have a dragonfly.

Kim, you are quite a mom.

Hats off to you Kim, and happiest birthday of all to the sweet Bella!

Here I am worried about whether or not I can make a cake shaped like a train for my sons birthday and you made bugs!?!? I'm thinking YOU should make my son's cake...

Happy Birthday Little Girl!

May you have a wonderful day and a year filled with much love and joy!

To the birthday mom...be thankful of your little daisy that is growing in a rose garden. For daisies are more resilient and they don't have any thorns.
Wishing you a peaceful heart on your daughter's birthday!

Another hottie-in-the-making. But then, we've learned to expect that from Kimmy's Kids.

Stephen, not half bad for a prudish devil, eh? Or is that a devilish prude? LOL!
