FYI, I am NOT blogging. I am creating publicity. (I know, I know. I'm weak.)

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/_64903.html

Come on over to Huffington Post and give a girl a comment, won't you. This is a follow up piece to "The Crappy Life of the Autism Mom" that I titled, "The Crapisode. Part Doo."

I miss you! I really miss you!

I'm leaving now.

I'm not typing any longer.

Really.

Sniff.....

turn off the internet, Kim.

Kim, you're a very good blogger, even when you can't blog because of that silly book thing! I can barely get around to blogging once a week now since that pesky school thing started back! Good luck with the revisions. And no, I don't really think you're book is silly. I can't wait to read it! So...chop, chop!

I tried to leave a comment over there but it didn't work. This is a better story than the first one, in that no disinfectant is required.

I always prefer stories where I don't have to wash up after reading.

And it's more inspiring.

How's those troopers?

You came back! you DO love me! Now come on, lets play some more...

Well i couldn't leave a comment on HuffPost either but you can tell anyone who wants to know here in the UK crapisode is a real fact of life and anyway you like to dress it unless you are in the autistic world you will have no idea, not a clue, what life is like.

Hey Kim,

Are you starting to hear voices now? Perhaps we are all just your IMAGINARY friends...

Or better yet, POLTERGEISTS!!!

Great column Kim - and you're a great mom, no matter what is said about you in Vermont. Sans diaper, I pooped in my grandmother's Ferragamo pumps, so I know that those stories never fade, but you rise above.

I'm so proud of your girls and their classmates. We all want acceptance, and your girls are getting it. TREMENDOUS!!

Ladybronco is right.

The article is great, as usual. There's no voice out there quite like yours. I too am unable to leave a comment at HuffPo.

Damn on the comments! Sorry HuffPo isn't taking your precious words. I look like loser girl whom nobody loves..... Laura, I love your avatat, by the way.

Ok, Mindy, I'm off....

Kim,

I read some of your articles. Very funny and poignant. You actually DO have a day job! I'm impressed with your zany style and wit. Humor is what gets you through the day. Laughter is the best antidote for autism. I remember reading that Shakespeare once said that "Life itself is a tragedy to the man who FEELS, and a comedy to the man who THINKS..."

PS. How's that baking coming?

Finding the positives is the way to get through - even if it's just "Thank God she wasn't twins!"

By the way, I noticed I typed "you're book" instead of "your book". I always get annoyed when people do the opposite, so I guess I just automatically type you're now!

I'm book, too, by the way. It's going to be my new term for "cool autism mom." Everyone wants to be book, you know!

"book"?? Me too! Me too!!

KIIIMMMM!!! Where are you? You've left me again, you've turned your attention to THAT BOOK haven't you? Come back to me Kim, I'll be good, I promise
