And I have a signed copy for YOU!

Lottery is the story of Perry L. Crandall, whose IQ is 76. When Perry wins $12,000,000 in the Washington State lottery his friends, foes and family circle the wagons around him. As the mother of kids with cognitive issues, Perry touched my heart.
You'll see this book on the best seller lists within weeks. Here's a chance to win a copy signed by Pat! Details on how to enter tomorrow.
DO NOT ENTER HERE! THE CONTEST IS THE ENTRY ABOVE THIS ONE!

Yay for Patricia! Doesn't it seem like she just sold the book yesterday? (Though that's probably not her perception.)

Stacy, it has been fantastic to watch her story unfold. Such a lesson to a newbie. It's great fun to watch a Cinderella Story. Even if I'm still an ugly stepsister! LOL!

That's so awesome - very cool to see her success!

oh yes, it’s going to be a demand for haikus using the words pat, wood, lottery, and book, isn’t it?

So I’ll submit mine early; did I-sob ever tell you-sob that I never win anything? (added in case there are pullable heart strings).

So here’s the haiku then, ahem,

See the Wood in trees,
her Lottery earns a pat;
do I get the book?

(though I strongly suspect I am up to me oxters in nitwittery!)

My Boston Irish friend, I'd have expected something a bit randier from you! Tomorrow the contest rules will be posted. And, "oxters?" Shoes???

Yep Kim, it was there on a plate, standing to attention, and waiting to be abused, but I just could not bring myself to follow though and lower the tone here, and besides, you have me all wrong, I’m not that wild –I’m a bit of a stiff really!

oxters=armpits
