The kids are back in school with NO dramas, the sun was shining today, project renovate-a-mum is under way and it's only 3 sleeps 'til I fly south for two nights of kid free fun and mayhem at my dad's wedding!

Welcome back! 1500 miles--wow. You deserve a beer, a shot of tequilia, and a spa day!
The last time I had kid free fun was November 2003 so I'm really looking forward to it. It's a shame Mike (my gorgeous wonderful hubby)can't come with me though, he's looking after daughter no.1 while the other goes to respite.
Do your kids like travelling then? I'd be in the nut house after 1500 miles with mine in the car - or is that why you're having a beer or three?? Hope you get the chance to recover.
You deserve it! Have one for me while you're at it.
