Kim, I posted a comment on the "geistweg | genocide" blog trying to persuade him to post about this situation worldwide, but you might want to add your voice. The link is the top one under Blogs I Read.
The wider the publicity you can get, in arenas where the topic isn't usually discussed, the better the chances someone might notice and do something.
