Congratulations Julie!! We spent the weekend on the Cape and the house we stayed at was stocked with books. I pulled Frank McCourt's book 'Tis from the shelf and completed it (with the help of a great dad, change of scenery, brothers who got along, and Nintendo). I thought I would have the luck of the Irish plus a great-great-grandmother's name being Devine might give me an edge. And, I saw Seamus O'Toole (#37) at a family get together. 'Tis was the first non-autism book I read in 7 years and will start with Lottery (then On Chesil Beach).

Kim, thank you for holding the contest. Instead of winning the LOTTERY, I won a great deal more and can't wait to get reading again.

Any chance of a recount? There is a possibility that stray Ohio votes might have skewed the result.

See what happens when I'm lazy and don't blog for a week? Well, I'm going to go to the reading Friday and hope to get my signed copy there!

I live overseas, so my ballot probably hasn't been counted yet.

LOL!! Julie IS from Ohio! WE NEED A RECOUNT! Oops, I've already annointed, er, elected her the winner and shipped the book. Henri, you sound French, therefore your vote and your pomme frites have been lost. FREEDOM FRIES FOR ALL! Do keep in mind though, no gay books will be allowed to marry, so you may sleep safe and sound..... I lived in Ohio for two elections. ;)
