Someone tell Ohio that St. Paddy's Day isn't until March 17th and Chicago pretty well has the green river shtick covered. Read the story of the green Cuyahoga river HERE. Hey, at least it's not on FIRE.
LOL!! Can you say bottled water today? We got a great water system called ZERO WATER at Costco - really takes the crap out of our water - we have little testy thing for that. Evian had more crap in it than tap water! Of course, we're in shiny clean CT (hardy har har, down the street from Danbury, Hat City, home of mercury poisoned water from felt hat factories).
No that's a line! "May the chemicals you consume be intentional" Love it, might just borrow it.
I'm not sure why I'm most upset - because of the new bugs "Look mum, no hands!" or the green unbottled water or the clear bottled water. I am glad I live here and not there and my water comes from a loch complete with sheep spit and widdle.
Bookfool - I lived in Cleveland twice! ME! A New Englander! Yeah, the sewer word is icky. But it's a lovely place to live - although it's a economic mess right now. Two of my kids were born there! And I have some GOOD friends there, right Michelle? :)
(PS) I wouldn't move back but I sure miss the housing prices!

Did somebody say BLOOD?
I'm as tough as you. I drink from the tap and from the kitchen window I can see Woburn. Eeks!
Have a great weekend, K, and may the chemicals you consume be intentional.

Baaa
Remind me not to move to Cleveland. The word "sewer" in that first article was really unnerving.
