Toilet 003 TEACH TOILETING BOOK FROM DEB BIALER FOR SPECIAL NEEDS & AUTISM!

Deborah Bialer is a consultant in Cleveland, Ohio with over thirty years' experience working with special needs children. She has created a toilet training program that works with kids on the spectrum. I'm giving away a copy of her book. Even better? Ms. Bialer is offering a free phone consultation to the winner!

The book is easy to read and the program is spelled out in detail for you. You can visit her website http://www.teachtoileting.com/ to order a copy and to learn more. Good luck!

Leave a comment to enter. I'll announce the winner in a week. The Baseball Book winner I'll announce later this week.

If you're a blogger and would like to share this book with your readers, I'll bet Deb will give you a free copy for a lucky winner too! Lord knows autism parents need toilet training assistance! You can reach her from her website. She's a doll - I've known her for many years.

We need this...Matthew REFUSES to use the potty...he'll be 4 next month and I had wanted to have him potty trained by then (but that's not gonna happen!).

Thanks for the resource/contest! :)

Potty training and autism is a horrible combo. Add the menstrual period for a real party.... I hope you all win. (Can I do that? No. But I can hope!)

Michele, that's so funny. My Grandma Yoli used to say, "Fold the corners." :)

Sign me up! Making great progress with potty training, but it's been 3+ years in the making. I talk about pee and poop like other people talk about their vacations. I forget it's not socially appropriate!

Thank you Kim.

Please remember it is the change to the location of the bathroom that challenges your child, not purposeful resistance to toileting. I have perfected my method over the years. It is truly unique and is successful with all children on the spectrum. Happy toileting. Give it a try. Debbie Bialer

I have read Ms. Bialer's book and found it to be anchored in both common and uncommon sense. She has developed an empirically tested and results-oriented method of toilet training children with special needs. Teach Toileting provides struggling parents with a clear roadmap for achieving a major milestone.

Hope I'm not too late....I am working with a 7 year old who is having a very hard time with potty training. She's going to weigh more than her Mom soon. We need help!

Thanks,

Julie, you're not too late. I've changed period pads and poop at the same time... UGH. Get the book if you don't win it!
