(Little Pilgrim contest scroll down!)
My revisions are FINALLY done!

Yup. My book is revised. For now. What's next? Clean up. Keen eye. Fine toothed comb. Nit picking (don't you use a fine toothed comb for that?) NONE of which is my strong suit. Go find, "Nilly Willy" in the dictionary and you'll see my photo.

Speaking of photos. My Mia turned 13 yesterday. 13! Hard to believe. Here we are at her party yesterday. Love the homemade GFCF cake, yes? Poor kid never gets a fancy store bought cake as I've yet to find a local bakery that makes a GFCF cake. She doesn't seem to mind though.

Oh my. They are breathtaking. All of them.

Mia is quite a young lady. 13 years old. That is a right of passage.

Is it me, or does she look like a porcelain doll?

Happy, happy birthday to Mia.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIA!!

I think she should have an official birthday, like the queen, as it's so close to Christmas...cripes! you lot have thanks giving too! Definately calls for an official birthday - how about 16th June?

So if you're not a perfectionist, does that make you a nit-accepter? One who uses a broad-toothed comb? Hmm. Stagliano-induced pondering ensues.

GFCF = Gluten Free, Color Free?

I saw your post on Manic's Blog about the Red Food coloring and just had to come over.

Are you a Feingold house? My sisters have been on that diet for a long time and recent my mom and them went gluten free as well. It was just exciting to find someone else who feels the same way we do.

Hi, Tanya! Yes, gluten free, casein (dairy protein) free. And soy free and dye free. We aren't pure Feingold though. But that diet works great for a lot of kids. And anyone has a kid on Ritalin and NOT dye free, you are doing the child a disservice. The dyes have been written up for years as problematic. And today's problem is that the dye is in EVERYTHING. Even where you least suspect it. Not just candies and cakes anylonger but toothpaste, all drinks, medicines, and more.

Come back again! :)
