Are you watching the lunar eclipse?????? It's beautiful. I can see how ancient humans would have been terrified by the moon disappearing like this. I'm using binoculars and you can really see the surface of the moon. THE MOON!!! Space is cool.

Oh and isn't that just TYPICAL?? Scrumpy's school topic is space, we have a lunar eclipse and it's P@*SING DOWN! Didn't see a damn thing.

Last night, my daughter and I stood shivering in the snow to watch the last sliver of silver disappear, and the moon turned red.

We could see the stars all around it.

Years ago, I froze my ass off taking time-lapse video of the last one.
