I'm reading his book now. I'm about 1/2 done - should be done this week. Holy moly those kids went through the ringer. I'm in the KISS section currently. It's a pretty amazing story!
Hi! Isn't it though? If you read his brother's book Running With Scissors you will faint dead away. John's book is MUCH easier to take. I kid you not. And John himself is a sweetheart. I've so enjoyed getting to know him. Take good care of my guy, won't you? ;)
Wow! I wish I lived on the East Coast! I am jealous!
"Look Me In the Eye" is required reading in our house (and those of our families and closest friends). It was also a great book for my KISS fanatic of a husband (who is hard-pressed to read books on "autism"), the preppiest guy alive but who can tell you every scene and explosion of a KISS show before it happens. We are truly fans on every front. AND WE ARE SO GRATEFUL to you, Kim, for guiding us to his book. We can't wait for yours!
Are you just coming up for the day? My son has a choir performance at the same time so I can't come. I wish that I could be there. I'd love to hear the discussion.
I hope that the speaking engagement (the panel) at Elms college takes place in a room with wood floors. Because, if these things happen AND you are wearing flanel: you will be a flanel panelist in Elms elm-panelled room.
13! Oh your mind! I shall not wear flannel, alas. Next to John I resemble and ELF however. So, I could dress as myself, looking like an elf at elms with John at the helm. Not working. I just don't have your mind...
Muse- enjoy the concert, sorry I'll miss you.
Emily, everyone should live on the East Coast. It's lovely. And it's already crowded, so more the merrier. :)
Holly, you're a bit far away, eh? And a bit busy writing wonderful books that get turned into movies. You get no sympathy here, although if we eat cheesecake we will think of you. :)
I would love to make it, Kim. I'd love to meet you both in person, but I live in the deep south and I can't take any days off right now. We're getting ready for Christmas for the folks I work with. I know you both will do well! :*)

Love that picture!
You guys are awesome. Wish I could come.
It's the little and large show!
I do look rather pygmyish don't I? John is VERY tall. I'm not that short. 5'4".

Hi Kim,

Here is what I hope (stay with me on this one).

Which, come on. Would rock.

DAMN YOU, Stagliano! Why do you get all the Robison?
We want a piece of him out here.
Eat your heart out! LOL!!!
Would love to be able to join you, but *sigh* that's so not possible!
Hope it turns out well for you guys. Say hello to John.
