From the Autism One Dinner Last Weekend
The theme of the dinner was, "The gloves are off" to celebrate the power of the Moms (and Dads) who fight for treatment, care, programs, services for people with autism all over the world. A group of us presented items at the auction. This is me having lots of fun with the crowd. (Thank you to my Dad who was my orthodontist. I do like my teeth -although they are rather Osmond'ish.) Instead of wearing fancy debutant gloves, I wore my Playtex cleaning gloves.

great picture!
You know, if you're going to compliment me (and thank you) you ought to use your name. :)
My name is Shteef. GREAT PICTURE! I'm adding it to my Kimmy photo album. You know: the album that includes a shot of you in a bikini.
Oh - Mark found a photo of me in a bikini when we were dating. I looked awfully good! Now I have to lie down on a raft from a distance in a photo - Shteef. LOL!
In words from Napoleon Dynamite, "you look hut." It could be the gloves but I think nut!
Andrea, some people reaaallly like those kind of rubber gloves I hear. Like "Dexter?" It did make the outfit. Nothing says "autism mom out for the evening" like a good pair of playtex "living" gloves. Yeah, I live in them!
It is a cute picture...
Your father should be proud of that smile. I was at that banquet. I was disappointed that "Breakfast with Kim Stagliano" was not one of the auction items.
Joe, we wanted to do breakfast with Age of Autism - but I'd booked my flight already for 8:15. I didn't think anyone wanted to dine at 6am! Next year I'll plan a later flight so save your pennies now for a big auction number. I'll even wear the gloves if it makes you happy! Thanks, Pixie. We had a great time raising money for TACA and SafeMinds. TACA does so much for families directly and SM is working hard on research and advocacy.
Forget the gloves; bring the bikini photo.
BTW, I became a fan of yours after reading your HuffPost article "If The First Child Had Autism". Have you trademarked the term "autismometer"?
Trust me, you don't want a bikini photo - well, maybe the old one, but one good is that? LOL! No, i need to copyright that along with "crapsidode" which is in the Urban dictionary. Thanks for the fan click on
HuffPo!
What a great picture pretty lady!
Bright lights! They hide the lines! And I was really happy - that always shows in a photo, don't you think? Happy people tend to look attractive - pretty even. And the bright lights help a lot too! :)
As we say in world of warcraft... hawt!
Love it! Looks like everyone had fun!
Maybe someday I'll get to attend a conference!
Josh, no one can match YOUR photo! That's the best baby pic I've seen in a long time. Thanks.
And yes, if you can save $50 - $75 a month you can do a conference. Start now and maybe you can get to A1 - sometimes there are scholarships. Email me next spring. hint hint hint hint hint.
You look beautiful Kim! Well rested! And yes, you have amazing teeth!
Michelle, I'd had TWO whole night's sleep. It's amazing how that makes you feel. Human! Gianna wakes up several times a night - starting at 1:37 or 4:02 - It does take it's toll. My Osmond mouth... You have one too, you know!
