Kim is Tame on Betty Confidential:

I reined in my Warrior Mom voice and wrote a pleasant post for Betty Confidential making suggestions as to how to help a friend with a child with autism. I kind of wanted to say, "Just f-ing DO something." But that wouldn't be quite right on Betty. Veronica? Oh yeah. But not Betty. ;)

Click HERE and if you have a moment to leave a comment, that would be great. Thanks. KIM

I tried to leave a comment at Betty, but no confirmation code appeared when I attempted to register.

Anyway, I loved the column and I'm going to take you up on this challenge the next time I befriend the mother of a child with autism. :) What a great way to help out!

Thanks Kim. I linked to it on my blog. I hate to ask for help and then feel guilty when I do. Or someone says let me help and I say NO.

Yeah I'm a bit stupid like that.

Jenn, we're ALL Stupid like that! We say, No. Suburban Turmoil, that is one great name! It's a pain in the ass signing up for sites, I agree. Thanks for trying. K

Well good for you for making such a supreme effort! :) don't we all do it tho'? someone says "can I help?" and we say "Oh no it's fine" when what we really want to say is "TAKE THIS KID AWAY FROM ME NOW. I JUST WANT TO THINK STRAIGHT FOR ONE SODDING MINUTE!!"
