I have a 10 year old son with moderate to severe autism. I'm past the "what caused it?" phase, and am now in the "how can I make him the happiest and the most functional person he can be in society" phase. I love this family's courage, and Karl for writing this book...it's about time we find compassion and work with what we've got here. Let's start helping these beautiful people live the lives they deserve to live. They're human beings given a life to live and to enjoy ...not trash to be discarded, and forgotten. It's our job to help them if they need help. Thanks for letting me vent about this.Candynoreply@blogger.com
