Those kids are in the hands of a great instructor; he knows when to be firm or soft with his students, and has a genuine concern towards their needs and overall wellness. Lucky for you to have found such an amazing and competent trainer you can entrust your child with. Cheers!

Ernestine Roberts @ WSKF Australia
Ernestine Robertshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03692510530812439526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35048242.post-70356868069985064672014-01-20T17:05:54.519-05:002014-01-20T17:05:54.519-05:00No, Kyoshi did NOT grab his arm - he gently remove...No, Kyoshi did NOT grab his arm - he gently removed the boys hands from around his mother's hands and spoke to him quietly. The boy has likely had ABA for most of his life - it's no panacea for behavior. Mom gave her son the option of going home - he asked to come into the dojo and was trying to get himself together. She was gently stroking his back trying to help him while chatting with Kyoshi - expressing a mother's worry for her son. Your analysis rates a zero point zero. If you ave a BCBA please consider another career. Ignoring hitting will land the boy in an institution or jail as he grows. And thanks for being a coward and not using your name. Ciao. Any BCBA would tell this mother that just increased the behavior 100% and expect it to happen again. Ignore the beahvior and move on. And the mom needs to get a clue. The son's behavior was predictable under the circumstances. Instead she praises this guy for grabbing her kid's arm? Clearly no one there is tranied in good ABA.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
