I took a cookbook (The CAke Mix Doctor) and checked out how they turned cake mix into cookies to get an idea of ratios and which ingredients to cut out (the liquid.) I added the flax and coconut for nutrition (so I can be lazy and give them to the girls for breakfast guilt free.) I use a lot of coconut oil and olive oil for savory foods.
